Toilet

Our toilet is pretty much done up, less the blinds i guess..
Now the question is: To have a tub or no tub?

I love the drop-in bathtub but i doubt i really have the space.. I can at most afford an Imperial/Hibiscus of below 1600/770mm that can be found at Nan Wah.

And check out the bathroom walls tiles by Spanish company, Glassdecor. Kiwi and oranges sounds good on walls and ceiling...

To me, saving electricity and water is of utmost important. Though the idea of bending down is a little 'off', i think i would prefer a front loading washer. Besides, this mean my yard can have more space as I can stack or put things on top.

So to look for one that is good and not too expansive, and the good and cheap detergents to wash my clothes.

Balcony Blinds

We will not be able to install windows or doors at the balcony. This is a bit of headache esp. i do not like the idea of rain coming into the house, and i think it is dangerous for the kids.

We came across roller blinds with side wire guides at a couple of places, including the Art and Science Museum. Wire guide system on roller blinds provide a straight drop fabric external blind with stainless steel guide wires and components. The stainless steel base rail travels down along the wire guides allowing the fabric to be stopped at any position without it flapping loosely in the breeze.



So depending on the fabric chosen, it will be able to prevent rain from coming in successfully, and be safe for the kids.
